Cultural Soiree

It is a cultural soiree with the aim of sharing the practices developed during the 12 weeks of the Voice and Creativity Laboratory, with singer Lenna Bahule. It will be presented on October 10th at 6:00 pm, at the Fernando Leite Couto Foundation.

Kinani Festival

The 10th edition of the Contemporary Dance Festival, Kinani, takes place in different venues in the city of Maputo between the 20th and 26th of November.

In this edition, the Kinani Festival hosts the Biennalle De La Danse En Afrique, highlighting the shows “Vagabundos” (Bums) and “Sinais Particulares” (Particular Signs) (Mozambique), “Hatched Essemble” and “The Black Circus” (South Africa). But there are also works from Angola, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Reunion Island, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Nigeria, Tanzania and Togo.

Founded in 2014, it includes brand showcases, a conference and an exhibition where hundreds of local manufacturers present their products and expertise to thousands of international trade visitors. ASFW offers the opportunity for investors and designers to leverage the value of the African textile industry by creating a space for networking and knowledge sharing.
